HAND DRAWN SCREEN PRINTING

This is a fantastic opportunity to understand different ways of mark making using crayons, washes and ink pens, then translating them into screen print. Build up layers of flat colour, drawings and marks, using registration techniques to produce your own edition of hand pulled, multi coloured prints! 

You will be guided through screen preparation, applying photographic emulsion, exposing screens and developing images, press setup, mixing inks, registration and correct squeegee usage. 

A full set of notes will be provided, that you can annotate yourself along the course duration. 

After this course, you should have a good foundation knowledge of the screen print area in the workshop, and the basics of translating drawings into screen prints.
