woodcut is a relief printmaking technique. This one cut, one colour course will take you through the practice and principles of woodcut printmaking. You will prepare your plate with an image, carve the image into the wood and finish the day by printing your woodcut. This is an enjoyable technique perfect for beginners or others looking to develop their work.
