Seacourt Print Workshop offers a range of printmaking courses with something to suit everyone from beginners, people returning to print after a break and professional artists.
Come and Try sessions give you a 3 hour introduction to a technique and if you take every session you’ll have covered enough tuition to be eligible for membership at Seacourt
We also offer a full day programme or tuition over several sessions so that you can become proficient in your chosen technique. All our workshops and course are delivered by professional printmakers who are passionate about sharing printmaking.
We aim to add new courses every 3 – 4 weeks and we reccomend signing up to our mailing list for regular updates.
If you have an idea in mind we can devise specific tuition or sessions to suit your needs. Printmaking provides great opportunities for personalising your experience or sharing with friends. Whatever your celebration or project, we can build a creative session that you’ll enjoy together and you get to take home you own original artwork to enjoy or gift.

Collagraph is perfect for those wanting to create a range of textures and marks. Join Merve Jones who will share his tips and guide you through the steps.
Come and try Letterpress printing and create text based prints with Jessica Hollywood.
Our come and try screen printing session gives you an overview of building layers, managing a squeegee and creating a print with preprepared screens.
Textile printing is a fund and addictive technique. Using heat reactive dyes you’ll experiment with pattern and mark making.
Tetra Pak is a fantastic technique that will give you an overview or both drypoint and collagraph printmaking. It’s also sustainable using recycling packaging.
Copper etching is a cornerstone of printing making. You’ll learn how to create a plate, manage inks and use our rochat presses.
Jessica Hollywood will take your through all the processes in creating screen prints using photography and digital source imagery.
Penny Brewill introduces non toxic etching on aluminium, an expressive technique that perfect for mark making and texture.
Tetra Pak printing is eco friendly and incredibly effective. You’ll learn about drypoint and collagraph techniques as you make your plates.
Try your hand at Monoprinting, a painterly technique that will help you gain experience of inks and presses.
Come and Try Lino Cut with Rosy Ennis. You’ll get to grips with craving your plate and learn how to create line, form and texture.
Make a print that is unique to you. Using Tetra Pak printing you’ll make a print of your favourite thing.
Kim Ladd will show you how to create a unique portrait of your pet using Tetra Pak printing this half term.
For ages 13 – 16 you’ll create a one off portrait tee – favourite movie star, a self portrait it is up to you.
Bring your favourite drypoint plate and Penny Brewill will show you how to use multiple plates to introduce colour and shade.
