Our Director, Emma Drury has worked in the arts for more that 20 years. Her primary interests are collaborative arts practice and sense of place and she has delivered projects that led to transformation, community building and changed perception of place. Her practice has placed the Artist centre and explored how this unique role can be a catalyst for creating a change in outcomes for individuals and communities.

She has served on several boards and executive committees – as Founder and Trustee, Arts in Motion (2005 – present); Millennium Court Arts Centre (2006 – 2018) and Flax Arts Studio Ltd. (2007 to 2009).
