Covid 19

Like so many other arts organisations and charities the Covid 19 crisis forced Seacourt to close to the public and to our members and particpants in late March. It was with a heavy heart that we pressed pause on our courses, projects and exhibitions and stayed at home.

Since then we’ve been working behind the scenes to keep the charity running and preparing for re-opening in new, somewhat challenging circumstances! We were able to continue to deliver sessions to our Create Connect participants online, providing some creative connection for these folks who had to shield to stay safe.

After risks assessments and surveys and a plethora of new signage, on June 29th we welcomed our printmaking family back to the workshop.

We’re phasing opening so things are a little different:

* members have to book a slot to use the workshop

* we have cleaning regimes in place

* we’re social distancing

*we’re are only open to key holding members for now

Despite all this we are so pleased to see our printmakers back in the building and being creative.

We hope it won’t be long until we are able to welcome our friends back to Seacourt. Watch our social media for information about free workshops and a new exbihibition in late August and the launch our autumn courses programme.
