Seacourt is a friendly open-access print workshop based in the seaside town of Bangor, Northern Ireland. We offer membership, courses and resources for all, as well as our self-arranged residency programme.

We are strong believers in the magic of print and how it can transform lives. We have a comprehensive health and wellbeing programme as well as an educational resource for schools.

Seacourt Print Workshop was founded in 1981 by Margaret Arthur and Jean Duncan. They wanted to be able to practice printmaking close to home and starting small, they established a print workshop. To help pay for overheads and purchase equipment they delivered courses to local people, then schools and the membership started to grow.

We offer several levels of membership at seacourt and we’re always delighted to welcome new printmakers into our community.

There is a simple application process so that we can ensure you have the necessary skills and experience to work in the space safely.

We can also prepare you for membership through courses and one to one training. There is always coffee on the go so arrange to drop by for a tour and a chat about options. Download an application form here.

Health and Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do here at Seacourt. Our workshop is an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages people of all abilities to become a member, book a course or volunteer with us.

We are located just outside of Bangor town centre.
